Orbit — Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026

Orbit is a party game app. This policy describes, in full, what data Orbit collects and how it is used.

Data we collect

Orbit does not require an account, an email address, a phone number, or any personal information to play.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, device identifiers beyond the anonymous UUID above, or any other personal data.

What we don’t do

Content reporting

If a player reports another player’s answer for review, the reported text and the reporting/target anonymous device identities are stored so the report can be reviewed. This data is write-only from the app; it is not readable by other players.

Where data lives

Game data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure running on AWS in the ap-southeast-1 region (Singapore).

Data retention & deletion

Room data (nicknames, answers, votes) exists only for the lifetime of a room. Leaving a room, or the room ending, removes your association with that room’s content. To request deletion of any data tied to your anonymous device identity, contact us using the email below.

Children’s privacy

Orbit does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because no personal information is collected in the first place. The anonymous, ephemeral nature of gameplay data applies equally to all players.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated and the revised policy will be posted at this same URL.
